Appeal
Before You Begin
Before logging into your terminal dashboard to access your SAP Appeal in ProEd, you must assemble the exact documentation metrics verified below.
Meet with Advisor
You must meet with an Academic Advisor to develop an Academic Plan. This document is a critical requirement and must be uploaded with your appeal framework. If you do not know who your academic advisor is, contact Academic Advising
Prepare Documentation
To make the submission process easier, ensure you have the following documents ready prior to accessing ProEd authentication portals:

Academic Plan (Completed with Academic Advisor) -
Personal Statement outlining:• Circumstances affecting your academic performance.
• What has changed that will allow you to successfully meet SAP requirements moving forward.
Accessing Your SAP Appeal in ProEd
CUNYfirst Portal Login
Log in to CUNYfirst using your CUNY Login credentials.
Student Center Panel
Navigate to your Student Center and select your “To Do List”.
To Do List Routing
Click on your SAP Appeal Checklist.
Select ProEd
Select the ProEd link provided in the checklist.
Verification
A verification code will be sent to your CUNY email address. Retrieve the code and enter when prompted.
SAP Appeal Application
After verification, you will be directed to your ProEd SAP Appeal Application. Complete all required sections of the application.
Upload
Upload all completed documentation file assets directly: Academic Plan, Personal Statement, and related verification files.
Review
Review your application carefully.
Submit Application
Click Submit to send your SAP Appeal for review.
•Your SAP Appeal is not considered submitted until you click the Submit button in ProEd.
• Be sure all required documents have been uploaded before submitting.
• Check your CUNY email regularly for updates or requests for additional information.
• Continue monitoring your CUNYfirst To Do List for any additional requirements.
